Klout Perk: Freeman Masks

I was awarded a Klout perk which was featuring Freeman masks.  I’ve tried some Freeman products in the past and have enjoyed them pretty much across the board. There have been a number of Freeman products I have not tried, so I was pretty excited to see the Charcoal & Black Sugar mask in the package I received. Since I have oily/acne prone skin I enjoy the effect charcoal has on my skin … so I’m pretty much excited to see how that mask fairs on my skin.  I’ve tried the cucumber mask in the past, but I have never tried their avocado mask so again, another product I’m looking forward to trying.

These are the few masks I’ve received:

Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask. According to the pamphlet, this mask is an all-over face mask for total renewal.  It is a thick gel mask that dries into a thin sheet that you peel to reveal brand-spanking new skin.

Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask. According to the pamphlet, this is a great product to use in the T-Zone or any oily spots. It’s supposed to channel old school beauty routines with Freeman’s modern-day clay mask that pulls toxins out of the skin.

Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask. This product is supposed to be great for dull, dry patches.  According to the pamphlet, the new product starts as a scrub but then purifies like a mask.

QUESTION:
Have you tried any Freeman masks?

Klout Perk: EcoTools Brushes and False Lashes

I was awarded a pretty cool Klout perk a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure what I was going to receive until I got my package delivered.  I have heard great things about EcoTools brushes and even their line of false lashes but I had never tried them out myself. From what I understand they have really fabulous brushes and I’m looking forward to adding these to my brush collection.  I haven’t ever used false lashes so I’m interested in seeing how these work. I had a pair of falsies in the past that had a huge band and were just … awful. So we’ll see how these EcoTools lashes are!

Here’s what I received:
  • EcoTools Lash & Brow Duo
  • EcoTools Full Eye Shadow
  • EcoTools Naturally Beautiful Lash System in Naturally Lush and Wispy & Flared

Klout Perk: Eclos Skincare

I was awarded a Klout perk which featured the Eclos skincare regimen.  I was excited to receive my perk and it arrived about a 4-weeks after I was received my initial e-mail.  The skincare is aimed towards anti-aging, which is a form of skincare I’ve been looking into adding into my skincare regimen since, well, I am aging (even though I still think I’m 25 – hah).  Once I get my acne skincare regimen set into motion and my face begins to clear and be relatively normal for a bit – I plan on trying to incorporate this line into my regimen but right now I need to focus on my problem area – acne.

The Eclos line is said to get your skin flawless, dewy and refreshed that you wouldn’t mind sharing your bare face with the world.

The items I received are as follows:

Eclos Daily HydraPrimer SPF 30.  This product is said to hydrate and prime, even skin tone and minimize fine lines and wrinkles while protecting with an SPF 30.

Eclos AM + PM Skin Prep Cleanser. This product is said to lift makeup and debri, purifies the skin without over drying and also calms, soothes and reconditions the skin.

Eclos AM + PM Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream. This product claims to hydrate and brighten, help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and promotes a smoother and more even texture skin.

QUESTION:
Have you tried anything from the Eclos line?

Klout Perk - Essie - Stylenomics

I received this Essie nail polish in Stylenomics from a Klout Perk a few weeks back.  I admit this is a very overdue post, but a late post is better than no post!  I opted into the perk and received it 3-6 weeks after the perk was closed.  I wasn't sure what shade I would be awarded as colors are just randomly chosen and sent off to those selected.

Stylenomics is from the Fall 2012 collection.  According to Essie, Stylenomics is a very dark green creme polish.  The polish appears slightly green, but it really looks more grey/brown-black than anything else.  I admit I have not worn this on my nails as of yet.
